Happy Year of the Dog

which of course is EVERY year. Happy Chinese New Year from us pugs Chan, Mr. Wong and Dr. Fu Manchu. Shangri-La the Chinese Shar-pei/pug mix is celebrating at her new house, with probably a new name. I hope she likes it there, we will miss her. Mommy made some Chinese food FOR HERSELF to celebrate, but we guys got carrots. I'm not sure I'd like Chinese food anyway, so as long as there's treats I'm happy. Dad must be behaving very well or something because he is going to be "in the field" for about a week, I don't know. Granddad says that is called bivouac, I wish they'd get their stories straight. Mom says it's part of Dad's job but that sounds like fun to me, being in the field. I'll let you know when I get all the facts.

The beautiful Shangri-la

We have to find a new home for Shangri-La, the Chinese Shar-pei/Pug mix. She prefers to be the only animal in a house. Nothing personal, she says to us pugs. Granddad doesn't like her barking at us because we are always getting in her way. He says she will be happier in a house with no other pets, where she can have the human all to herself. I can see that point of view. So Mom is having her picture taken to put up at the vet's. I'm gonna go lie down with the brothers now, talk at ya later.....

Holiday

The brothers and I are off to a holiday weekend while Mommy visits Uncle Kell and Aint Anne and them in Tennessee, whatever that is. We will have dogs and cats to play with at Aint Liz' house. Shangri-La will stay at home, she calls it a bachelorette pad. Aint Van will come over and pet her. She says she will have her OWN vacation....FROM US GUYS!!! She's a pip. So I will talk to you later.
